What? Your phone drops in water? Correct maintenance as follows

I’ve been repairing mobile phones for 10 years, there are so many customers bring drowning phone to me hoping to make it work again. However, what they done makes the phone been damage again and again and then impossible to fix anymore. Still, some customers know how to do the first aid correctly so that their phone survives and soon come back to work normal again.

Now I not only do the repairing work, but also do the customizations work of mobile phones. Firstly, REMOVE THE BATTERY immediately once you get the phone out of water.

If you phone happened seems not able to remove battery, you will need to use the tools to unscrew the phone and try your best to separate the battery from the device.

Actually, what destroys the mobile phone is the electricity conducts across the tiny wires inside the phone and this is called "electrolysis." The electricity will eat away at the very thin and delicate wires. If you forget to remove the battery from the mobile phone, it will ruin the phone permanently. Once you remove the battery, the damage process can stop.

Kindly note: the sooner the battery been removed, the less damage on the mobile phone will be.

Secondly, separate your phone into as many pieces as you can, and then use dry cloth and dry soft paper to get rid of the remaining water.

Do not use the hair dryer blow HOT wind, since the hot wind may damage the parts on the main board. Use the cold wind only if necessary. Once you confirm it’s totally dry out, carefully put them in a warm place such as near a furnace heat register that blows warm air for at least 1 day.

It’s popular to put the phone into a bag of rice/tea on the internet, in the purpose to absorb the water inside the phone. Actually I suggest do this on the basis that you get rid water inside the phone, and separate the phone into parts to put inside the bag of rice/tea.

Leave the phone for several days, and then install the phone again with battery. If you are lucky enough, the phone will work normal again.
