Large screen iPhone 6 will induce Android user to abandon their Android Smartphones

Recent rumors of iPhone 6 are mainly for its large display screen. Similar to previous rumors, Marshall also believe that there will be 2 version s of iPhone released. One is 4.7 inches screen; another one is 5.5 inches screen. The new iPhone 6 will be varied from the 4 inches iPhone 5s, which will trigger a boom of replacing mobile phones.

There are 260 million iPhone users globally. ISI Group estimated that, half quantities of the iPhone were sold to the old users for replacing their iPhone. ISI Group reported, during 2011-2012, the replacing rate (the percentage of new buyers in the total users) is 10%-11%. Since the iPhone 5C and 5S don’t have much different designs, the iPhone users are reluctant to replace them. Indeed, there isn’t any sufficient reason for the replacement; both iPhone 5C and 5S doesn’t have much difference compare with the previous generations.

The max replacing rate of iPhone users could be 12%-14%. ISI Group estimated that, the replacing rate will rise up to similar level which will result in a remarkable sales growth when the iPhone 6 release later this year. Additionally, the large screen iPhone 6 may get back the customers who go for Android device just because they like large screen.
